LEGION OF THE DAMNED recently entered the German national album chart at position No. 54 with its second album, "Sons of the Jackal" (Massacre Records).

The follow-up to 2006's "Malevolent Rapture", "Sons of the Jackal" was recorded at Stage One studio in Bühne, Germany with producer Andy Classen. The songs from the CD — "Diabolist" and "Sepulchral Ghoul" — can be streamed via the band's official MySpace page.

LEGION OF THE DAMNED has been confirmed as the support act for the first three weeks of the European co-headlining tour featuring Germany's KREATOR and Switzerland's CELTIC FROST. The trek is scheduled to kick off March 8 in Köln, Germany. A complete list of dates can be found at KREATOR's official web site.
