LED ZEPPELIN: 'Biography' To Air In Early December

October 25, 2004

A LED ZEPPELIN "Biography" one-hour TV program will air on the A&E network on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 4:00 a.m. A show description reads as follows: "The story of the top rock band that got its name when drummer Keith Moon predicted how the band would go over with audiences after hearing their demo tapes. LED ZEPPELIN's first album reached number 10 on the charts in 1969, and their popularity continued to grow with each subsequent album. But they were among the most hedonistic of all rock bands, and their indulgences led to a series of tragedies that ultimately broke up the band. However, they rank second only to THE BEATLES in sales."

A&E's Emmy award-winning series "Biography" has been called "one of cable's true landmarks," bringing viewers a remarkable variety of profiles of important and interesting people, represented with depth, detail, and historical accuracy. "Biography" is the longest-running, single-topic documentary series on television.
