LEAVES' EYES: Leipzig Footage Available

November 24, 2009

Fan-filmed video footage of LEAVES' EYES' November 21, 2009 performance at Hellraiser in Leipzig, Germany as part of the "Beauty & The Beast Tour" (with ATROCITY, SIRENIA, ELIS and STREAM OF PASSION) can be viewed below (courtesy of "MusicJay1985").

Due to health concerns, LEAVES' EYES bassist Alla Fedynitch is sitting out the band's shows for the remainder of the year. Her temporary replacement is Oliver Holzwarth (TARJA TURUNEN, BLIND GUARDIAN),who previously joined LEAVES' EYES on stage for two songs during the German/Norwegian female-fronted metal group's acoustic performance at the Metal Female Voices Fest on October 19, 2009 in Wieze, Belgium.

Fedynitch is suffering from a herniated vertebral disk and paralysis on her right hand, making it impossible for her to tour with the group.

"My Destiny", the new video from LEAVES' EYES, was directed by Patric Ullaeus (DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL) of Revolver Film Company in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Photos from the video shoot, as well as a German-language report from guitarist Thorsten "Tosso" Bauer, can be found on the Sounds2Move.de web site.

"Njord", the new full-length album from LEAVES' EYES, was released in the U.S. on September 29 via Napalm Records.
