LAST CRACK Set Release Date For Double Live Album

November 29, 2004

Reunited Midwest hard rockers LAST CRACK have set "Burning Funkhouse Live" as the title of their upcoming double live album, slated to be released digitally on December 15, 2004 on Rökker Records' download site and on CD on January 15, 2005.

"Burning Funkhouse Live" documents LAST CRACK's reunion concert on November 15, 2002 to a sold-out crowd in Madison, Wisconsin and features songs from the band's two releases on Roadrunner/Roadracer Records — 1989's "Sinister Funkhouse #17" and 1991's "Burning Time". The CD version of the album, which was recorded by John Machnik of Sleepless Nights Studios, will also feature live video from the concert.

Fresh from returning from a year in Japan, singer Buddo J. Buddo joined his fellow mates Paul Schluter (Pablo),Todd Winger (Reno) and Donald K. Bakken and drummer Ski (who played on the band's third album, "Runheadstartscreaming", with singer Shawn Anthony Brown). The recording accurately captured this unique performance that inspired the band to reform.

"Burning Funkhouse Live" will be available for digital download at $.99 per song, with the option to download the entire show. The double CD can be pre-ordered starting December 15 for January delivery at LastCrack.com.

A celebration for the digital release "Burning Funkhouse Live" will take place the night of December 15 at the King Club on King Street in Madison, Wisconsin (just down the street from the state capital). LAST CRACK will perform at the event and will take the stage at 10:00 p.m. They will perform rare favorites from the first two releases, songs from their hugely successful demo and two new songs that have never been played live.

After LAST CRACK, Madison legends LADYBEARD will take the stage from 11:30 to close.

Prior to LAST CRACK performing at the event will be a listening party, starting at 8:00 p.m., that will feature other rare and unique releases on Rökker Records, including MAGIC 7 (Buddo, Paul Schluter, Todd Winger, Don Bakken),WHITE FEAR CHAIN (Buddo and the members of Roadrunner's REALM),MIND OX (Buddo),MUZZY LUCTIN (Paul Schluter),DON BAKKEN BAND, STOCKARD JETTISON (Buddo),Buddo solo material and much more.
