KULT OV AZAZEL To Utilize Session Musicians For AUTUMN EQUINOX 5 Festival Performance

September 25, 2007

Floridian black metallers KULT OV AZAZEL have issued the following update:

"KULT OV AZAZEL's performance for this Saturday's Autumn Equinox 5 Festival will be a unique one. Hammer and Xul will not attend due to working schedules. Instead of canceling, Xaphan has aligned a group of individuals to assist in making KULT OV AZAZEL's appearance a reality. To employ the dual vocal attack that is prevalent in many songs the services of Imperial (KRIEG, N.I.L.) has been recruited to cover Xul's vocal duties. Xaphan will also be backed by VJS (INCURSUS, CRIMSON MOON) on drums, Marco Martell (DIVINE EMPIRE, MALEVOLENT CREATION) on guitar, Mitch Coken (DIABOLICUS, ex-ENGORGE) on bass."

KULT OV AZAZEL is currently working on material for its new album, entitled "Destroying the Sacred". The CD will include 10 tracks, two of which have yet to be written. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Prelude to Holocaust", "The Plagues of Mankind", "Slaughter the Prophet", "I am the Devil", "Sacrilege: Destroying the Sacred, Gutting Religious Heritage, Conquer & Annihilate" and "The Lucifer Principal". A POSSESSED cover is also being recorded, to be included on the album as a bonus track.

The band previously stated about the upcoming CD, "This album will complete our four-album contract with Arctic Music with a release date planned for early 2008. Also in the works are preparations for the first official KULT OV AZAZEL DVD. Over the next few months we'll be gathering material from The Swarm of Eternal Blackness 2004 and Hellstorm of Unholy Legions 2005 tours as well as other one off shows spanning 2003-2006. We are [also] in the process of confirming one live show for Mexico for this year and a 35-date tour beginning in 2008."
