KRUNK To Perform At Germany's WACKEN OPEN AIR Festival?

March 21, 2006

According to a posting on bassist Rev Jones' (MSG) official web site, KRUNK — the long-running side project of Eighties drum legend James Kottak (SCORPIONS, ex-KINGDOM COME) and his wife Athena Lee (sister of MÖTLEY CRÜE's Tommy Lee) — will be performing at this year's Wacken Open Air festival on August 4 in Wacken, Germany. It should be noted, however, that KRUNK's participation in the event has yet to be officially confirmed by the festival organizers.

KRUNK recently completed work on their latest studio album, entitled "Therupy". The band, who describe their sound as "CHEAP TRICK meets GREEN DAY, on a bad day," issued the CD through their own label, S.N.U.G. Records.

KRUNK is:

James Kottak (a.k.a. Jimmy Ratchitt; SCORPIONS, ex-KINGDOM COME) - Guitar/Vocals
Athena Lee - Drums
Dave Whiston - Guitar
Rev Jones (MSG) - Bass
