KORN Set Release Date For 'Take A Look In The Mirror'

September 23, 2003

KORN have set a November 18 release date through Epic Records for their sixth album, "Take a Look in the Mirror". The album's first single, "Right Now", is due to hit U.S. radio outlets in early October.

The self-produced CD is the follow-up to the Grammy-winning 2002 album "Untouchables", which debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 1.4 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

" 'Untouchables' was brilliant for what it was, but this album is an evolution and a mixture of everything we've done," frontman Jonathan Davis said in a statement. The new record is "the best stuff we've ever done," he added. "It sounds brutal and very heavy."

"Take a Look in the Mirror" is expected to include "Did My Time", a song the band recorded earlier this year for the movie "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life". The cut debuted at No. 38 on Billboard's Hot 100 last month.
