KORN Management Says No Tour Dates Have Yet Been Confirmed

October 14, 2003

A representative for KORN's management, The Firm, has branded as "inaccurate" the tour dates currently being floated around for the upcoming KORN/DROID tour (which were originally posted on DROID's web site). According to the representative, the KORN tour — for which no dates are completely confirmed yet — will probably start on the West Coast and, as previously reported, will feature openers DROID, the Long Beach, California-based band who occasionally serve as the backing group for KORN bassist Fieldy as part of his FIELDY'S DREAMS project. In addition, it is rumored (but not yet confirmed) that the band will play no less than FIVE shows in New York — one in each borough: Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Stated Island, and Brooklyn. More information will be made available soon.

In other news, KORN are giving fans the opportunity to create the video for their new single, "Right Now". According to a post on the band's web site, KORN are looking for "the sickest, the most-twisted, most f*&#-ed up short-film footage, animation out there. KORN is going to give you 'Right Now' to synch and edit your film to. If KORN chooses your music video, it will be world premiered on Launch @ Yahoo.com!"

"Here's what you do…

1) Download KORN's new single 'Right Now' [from the band's web site]…
2) Edit your film to it using your favorite method … Final Cut Pro, Avid, Adobe Premiere, a good old Video Toaster…Reel to Reel….
3) Send the video on VHS or mini-DV to: Korn Needs a Video Right Now, attn: Ben P, 9465 Wilshire Blvd 6th Floor, Beverly Hills, CA 90212
4) Winners will be notified on or around November 1st, 2003.
5) All videos must be received no later than 10/31/2003

"Please note the following:

"You must be at least 18 years old to enter, or you can enter by printing this page, having your parent or guardian sign it and enclosing a photocopy of a valid photo ID with your video submission. You must own or have cleared permission to use any and all content (footage, animation, etc.) that you include in the video. By submitting your video, you are granting to KORN and to KORN's agents and representatives, a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use and reproduce and exhibit the video."

KORN's sixth album, "Take a Look in the Mirror", is due on November 25 through Epic Records.
