KORN Frontman Planning CD/DVD Of Solo Tour

November 1, 2007

Gary Graff of Billboard.com reports: KORN frontman Jonathan Davis is planning a CD/DVD of his upcoming solo tour — and will make it available in time for the start of the outing.

During a teleconference with reporters today (Nov. 1),Davis told Billboard.com that the night before the tour's Nov. 9 start in Hartford, Conn., he plans to go into the studio of his friend and longtime collaborator Richard Gibbs — who's serving as the solo tour's musical director — to tape and film "a small show in front of family and friends and some press."

"It's going to be a limited edition run that will be available at the shows for people to buy," says Davis, who's playing 23 solo shows into December. The DVD, he says, will be a making-of chronicle "that shows everything from when we were trying out the band members to rehearsals leading up to the recording of this show."
