KORN Bassist Working On 'Heavy' Solo Project

February 2, 2006

KORN bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu has told MTV News that he is currently working on a new solo project. "It's heavy, man," he said. "It's gonna be totally the flipside of FIELDY'S DREAMS [Fieldy's 2002's solo rap album FIELDY'S DREAMS' 'Rock N Roll Gangster']."

The project, which won't be called FIELDY'S DREAMS, is being helmed by "Rock N Roll Gangster" producer Polarbear.

"I've got about eight songs, instrumentals with hooks in them," Fieldy told MTV News. "I'm singing and it's just more heavier hardcore, not really like the goofy, funny rap thing."

A release date for the album has not yet been announced.
