KORN Bassist Talks About Touring Europe

June 28, 2007

Bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu was recently interviewed at Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting festival where he confirmed that KORN will be back in Europe early 2008.

"I think in January and February we're going to be back here in Europe again bringing Family Values over here," Arvizu said. "We're going to do it proper — not festivals. A proper tour that's just KORN with whoever's opening for us. So it'll be our own arenas and it won't be out in these dirt fields until maybe we're big enough to do these dirt fields. I don't mind it, but don't bring out good shoes out here, except for my signature shoes."

Fieldy also explained what he would do if he wasn't in KORN today and he mentioned his book "Got the Life" that is currently in the works along with his own clothing label.

"I'd probably be doing something with writing or producing or making music," he said. "I like to make music with other people. I have a book coming out, by the way. It's called 'Got the Life'. It's going to be pretty much about my life — everything I've done to where I'm at today.

Saying that the worst thing about being on tour is missing his family, Fieldy also revealed the first picture of his four-month-old baby boy Israel.

"I miss my family," he said. "But now we've got the computer, I go on the computer and see my little boy on there and it's pretty cool now that I'm actually able to see him and say, 'Hi, how you doing?'."
