KONKHRA Continue Work On New CD, Line Up Live Appearances

Denmark's KONKHRA are currently tracking vocals and lead guitar for their forthcoming CD, which is being recorded at mainman Anders Lundemark's Starstruck Studios for a late 2002 release through an as-yet-undetermined label. In other news, the group are still confirmed for Turkey's Host Open Air festival, despite the recent cancellation of projected headliners BLIND GUARDIAN due to the fact that they didn't want to play indoors. The event, which is scheduled to take place on June 29th in Istanbul, is also tentatively set to include appearances by ROTTING CHRIST, and AUTUMN BLAZE, among others. Also on the KONKHRA front, the band are looking into playing two shows in Greece in the fall along with HOMO IRATUS. More details will be made available soon.
