KIX: FUNNY MONEY Bassist To Join Band For Reunion Tour

Former KIX frontman Steve Whiteman has announced that the rumored "4/5ths Of KIX" reunion dates will happen in September. The original KIX line-up of Steve, guitarists Ronnie Younkins and Brian "Damage" Forsythe and drummer Jimmy "Chocolate" Chalfant will join together for the shows without original bassist Donnie Purnell. Steve and his KIX bandmate Jimmy Chalfant's band, FUNNY MONEY, will take some time off to allow the shows to happen. FUNNY MONEY bassist Mark Schenker will join KIX on their string of reunion dates in place of Purnell.

Confirmed KIX dates are as follows:

Sep. 10 - Jaxx - Springfield, VA
Sep. 11 - North American Concert Grounds - Hagerstown, MD
Sep. 17 - Dragonfly - Harrisburg, PA
Sep. 18 - Thunderdome - Baltimore, MD
