February 18, 2013

Rock Fest this morning officially unveiled the 2013 20th-anniversary lineup to feature headliners KISS, MÖTLEY CRÜE and KORN, with one headliner remaining (to be announced). Additional acts slated for the hallmark year include MEGADETH, THE OFFSPRING, SEETHER, WHITESNAKE, DEVICE (featuring David Draiman of DISTURBED),HALESTORM (recent Grammy-Award winner for "Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance" for "Love Bites (So Do I)"),STONE SOUR (featuring Corey Taylor of SLIPKNOT),SKILLET, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, POP EVIL and more.

Rock Fest organizers say this year's festival features both returning fan favorites, as well as highly requested new acts who are making their inaugural trip to Rock Fest. The focus for 2013 20th anniversary was to put together four days of rock acts that would flat-out entertain from the first show of the day straight through to the final show in true 20th-anniversary fashion. There are also some surprises in store for rock fans, such as the return of Brian "Head" Welch, former guitarist for KORN, who will be rejoining the band for their headlining show at Rock Fest 2013, as well as the return of drummer Tommy Aldridge to WHITESNAKE.

Rock Fest is held from Thursday, July 17 to Sunday, July 20 at the Venue in Cadott, Wisconsin. Lineup and ticket information can be found at www.rock-fest.com. The event offers an experience for rock music fans of all ages, focusing on a blend of the biggest and best names in active and classic rock. It is set on 320 acres in central Wisconsin in an interactive natural amphitheater setting, and home to over 8,000 campsites all within walking distance to the concert grounds.
