KISS Guitarist TOMMY THAYER Takes Part In Patrick Warburton 'Golf For Kids' Tournament

March 5, 2012

KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer took part in the second annual Patrick Warburton "Golf For Kids" Celebrity Tournament this past weekend (March 2-4) at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, California.

"The whole reason we're out here is to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital," Thayer told Bianca Rae of KESQ News Channel 3.

After visiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2010, Patrick and his wife, Cathy, founded the Patrick Warburton "Golf for Kids" Celebrity Tournament in 2011. Along with Board Chair Clarke Rheney and the rest of the volunteer committee, they hosted an amazing weekend that included two rounds of golf, a dinner and comedy show, raising more than $200,000 for the kids of St. Jude. More than 30 celebrities joined in the weekend festivities lending their support in the fight against childhood cancer and other deadly diseases.
