KING DIAMOND To Headline Sweden's LINKÖPING METAL MASSACRE Festival

KING DIAMOND has been confirmed as the headliner of the Linköping Metal Massacre festival, set to take palce November 2 in Linköping, Sweden. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

At least 15 other bands will be booked during the summer.

KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy La Rocque recently returned home to Sweden after "a very heavy and intense mixing session" in Dallas, Texas with the band's singer/namesake King Diamond on the band's long-awaited new album, "Give Me Your Soul ... Please". "It's definitely the best songs and production we've had in years!" Andy told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "A rollercoaster of atmospheres and horror is a good way of describing" the new CD.

"Give Me Your Soul ... Please", will be released in North America on June 26 via Metal Blade Records. Massacre Records will issue the album in Germany on June 29.
