KING DIAMOND Featured On 'Clerks II' Soundtrack

KING DIAMOND is featured on the soundtrack to the motion picture "Clerks II", the 2006 sequel to Kevin Smith's 1994 movie "Clerks". The "Clerks II" soundtrack contains 11 music tracks (plus one bonus music track) from the movie, including two KING DIAMOND tracks — "Welcome Home" and "The Invisible Guests" — as well as 13 dialogue cues from the film. Also included are in-depth liner notes from director and writer Kevin Smith.

KING DIAMOND recently finished recording the drums, bass and rhythm guitars for their upcoming album, tentatively due in early 2007. The follow-up to 2003's "The Puppet Master" will contain 13 tracks (including an intro),five of which were written by the band's guitarist, Andy La Rocque. Frontman King Diamond will soon begin writing the lyrics for the album, which is being recorded in Dallas, Texas and at Los Angered Recording (owned by La Rocque) in Gothenburg, Sweden.

KING DIAMOND last year completed a U.S. tour with NILE, BEHEMOTH and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER. A live CD, "Deadly Lullabyes Live", was issued in 2004.
