KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Music In POP-TARTS Commercial: Video Available

May 24, 2004

A Kellogg's Pop-Tarts TV commercial, featuring a brief snippet of the KILLSWITCH ENGAGE song "The Element of One", has been posted online at this location (to play the commercial, click on the TV set at the top of the page).

As previously reported, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE sold 37,531 copies of their latest album, "The End of Heartache", in its first week of release to debut at No. 21 on this week's The Billboard 200 chart. This accomplishment marks the fourth highest Roadrunner Records chart debut to date.

The follow-up to 2002's "Alive or Just Breathing", "The End of Heartache" was produced by guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and was mixed at Backstage Studios in Ripley, Yorkshire with Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, SKINLAB). "The End of Heartache" is the group's first full-length release with vocalist Howard Jones and drummer Justin Foley. Artwork for the CD was designed by the band's bass player, Mike D'Antonio.
