KILLING MACHINE To Support AC/DC In France

May 12, 2010

KILLING MACHINE, which features in its ranks former members of SLAYER, TESTAMENT and EVERGREY, will support AC/DC on the French Leg of the "Black Ice Tour" next month. The two shows will take place at Parc Des Sports Charles Ehrmann in Nice on June 15 and the Stade De France in Paris on June 18.

Commented KILLING MACHINE guitarist Peter Scheithauer: "Well, what can you say?!!! To be supporting one of the true masters of rock is like a dream come true. We are absolutely stoked and honored that these legends are giving us the opportunity to share their stage."

KILLING MACHINE is:

Csaba Zvekan - Vocals
Peter Scheithauer (TEMPLE OF BRUTALITY, BELLADONNA) - Guitar
Jari Kainulainen (EVERGREY, STRATOVARIUS) - Bass
Jon Dette (TESTAMENT, SLAYER) - Drums

Six new KILLING MACHINE songs — "Skull and Bone", "Hell Raiser", "Free Nation", "Black Sun", "Nailed To The Cross" and "Morning Star" — can be heard at the band's MySpace page.

The band is in the process of securing a new record deal with a view to a release towards the end of the year.

KILLING MACHINE has released two albums, the self-titled effort in 2000 via Candlelight Records and the critically acclaimed "Metalmorphis" in 2006, via Mausoleum Records. The two LPs featured a multitude of musicians, including David Ellefson (MEGADETH),Stet Howland (W.A.S.P.) and Mike Vescera (OBSESSION, LOUDNESS)

Unashamedly wearing their heavy metal roots on their leather-studded sleeves, KILLING MACHINE "combine the classic metal feel of the past with the fresh aggression of the present," according to a press release. "Thunderous bass lines, pounding drums and explosive riffs blend with distinct heavy, melodic vocals to create driving and memorable songs."
