KID ROCK: Almost Stranded In Russia

According to the New York Daily News, KID ROCK was almost stranded in Moscow after a night of carousing last month. Rock had flown there to watch Darren McCarty and other pals from the Detroit Red Wings play in ex-teammate Igor Larionov's farewell game.

Off the ice, Rock and McCarty, who moonlights in the band GRINDER, got on stage at a Moscow club to perform LYNYRD SKYNYRD's "Sweet Home Alabama" and other Southern-fried classics.

But trouble came in the form of several rollicking Russkies who wanted to party with the Amerikansky star.

"Kid Rock stayed out all night with these women," an insider told the New York Daily News. "When he got back to the hotel, he was missing his jacket, wallet and passport.

"Everybody was afraid he wouldn't be able to leave the country. But two days later, the passport was returned. So was his wallet, minus his rubles."

A rep for the singer denied Rock got rolled.

"He lost his passport when his jacket fell off-stage at the club," said the spokesman.
