KAMELOT/SONS OF SEASONS Keyboardist Working On Instructional DVD

November 5, 2008

Keyboardist/guitarist Oliver Palotai (KAMELOT, DORO, BLAZE, SONS OF SEASONS) is currently working on his first instructional DVD for keyboards in Florida. More information will be made available soon.

The third in a series of behind-the-scenes clips from SONS OF SEASONS — the new progressive/symphonic metal band led by Palotai — can be viewed below. This clip focuses on the vocal-recording sessions with singer Henning Basse (METALIUM, FIREWIND).

As previously reported, SONS OF SEASONS has inked a deal with Napalm Records. The group's debut CD, "Gods Of Vermin", is scheduled for release in early 2009. EPICA singer Simone Simons — who happens to be Oliver Palotai's girlfriend — has confirmed that she will make a guest appearance on the album.

SONS OF SEASONS is:

Oliver Palotai (KAMELOT, DORO, BLAZE) - Keyboards, Guitar
Daniel Schild (BLAZE) - Drums
Luca Princiotta (BLAZE) - Guitar
Jürgen Steinmetz - Bass
Henning Basse (METALIUM, FIREWIND) - Vocals

Formed in January 2007, SONS OF SEASONS was launched as a "melting point" for all of Oliver Palotai's skills, as a musicians, composer and producer.

The group's first singer, Tijs Vanneste (OCEANS OF SADNESS),proved to be a great musician, but the band's future touring plans didn't fit the tight working schedule at his job, resulting in his departure. However, some of the songs on SONS OF SEASONS' debut album are said to have been inspired by his ideas.
