JON OLIVA'S PAIN, the band fronted by SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva, has issued the following update:

"Our new CD 'Global Warning' has been released throughout Europe and scheduled for its U.S. release on May 6th.

"We are thrilled to report that 'Global Warning' has received amazing reviews so far and beyond anything we ever expected. Critics around the world are considering this not only a mastepiece from JON OLIVA'S PAIN but one of the best CDs Oliva has ever created in his 28 years of recording! The album is diverse and full of every emotion possible. Fans and critics alike are fully embracing the complexity and variety of music on this CD. We put everything we had into this recording and it looks like it is going to pay off.

"On touring news: JON OLIVA'S PAIN, MANTICORA and MASTERSTROKE will embark on our 15-city Euro spring tour next Wednesday April 23rd in Hamburg, Germany. Festival dates, South America shows and a host of other touring plans will be announced in the coming weeks.
