JOHN SYKES Explains THIN LIZZY's European Tour Postponement

Legendary guitarist John Sykes (THIN LIZZY, WHITESNAKE, BLUE MURDER) has issued an explanation for the abbreviated THIN LIZZY European tour which ended more than a month earlier than originally announced.

"Just to set the record straight, the European leg of the THIN LIZZY tour was put back due to a severe ear infection," Sykes writes in a statement posted on his official web site. "After getting back to Los Angeles and seeing a specialist, I'm happy to report that everything is fine and I look forward to playing for you all soon. Thank you for all your concerns."

THIN LIZZY's current touring lineup consists of Sykes, bassist Marco Mendoza, guitarist Scott Gorham and drummer Michael Lee.
