JOE LYNN TURNER To Headline Main Stage At THE RIVER CITY BIKE FEST

February 24, 2006

Veteran hard rock vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) will headline the main stage at The River City Bike Fest, set to take place April 7-9 in San Antonio, Texas.

The River City Bike Fest has been called the most amazing motorcycle rally that has ever been seen in the Southwest. For three entire days, the Alamo Dome will be Ground Zero for 72 straight hours of custom bike builders, music, motorcycle stunts and partying. Joe Lynn Turner will be on the main stage during the festival with exact days and showtimes to be announced soon. More information is available at www.rivercitybikefest.com.

In other news, Greg Napier will host a special devoted to Joe on WMMT radio on March 5 starting at 10:30 p.m. EST. The program will include interview segments and lots of Joe Lynn Turner music, past and present. A survey conducted by the University of Kentucky indicates that WMMT is in the top 10 among stations most listened to in the tri-state region so this is great exposure for Joe.

If you live in Eastern Kentucky, Southwest Virginia and Southern West Virginia, you can tune in at 88.7 on the FM dial. You also listen online at www.appalshop.org/wmmt (follow the "Listen Live" instructions).
