JEFF KOLLMANN To Produce GLENN HUGHES CD

Back from a successful UK tour with $IGN Of 4, featuring UFO vocalist Phil Mogg, Los Angeles-based guitarist/songwriter/producer Jeff Kollman is gearing up to enter the studio with 'The Voice of Rock', GLENN HUGHES, on December 15. Kollman will produce, co-write, and contribute guitar to Hughes' forthcoming rock record which is being recorded at Kollman's Crumb Studios in the San Fernando Valley. The album should be completed by early February.

On the COSMOSQUAD front, Kollman, drummer Shane Gaalaas (GLENN HUGHES, $IGN OF 4, B'Z),and bassist Barry Sparks (DOKKEN, ULI JON ROTH) will take part in "21st Century Schizoid Night! - A Celebration of Guitar, Bass & Drums", an all-star instrumental extravaganza also featuring OHM:, a trio led by former MEGADETH guitarist, Chris Poland, and McGILL MANRING STEVENS. The show is set for Thursday, January 16 at the Sixteen-Fifty (formerly Vinyls),1650 Schrader Blvd., Hollywood, CA. Doors open at 8.00pm.

Last but not least, Jeff Kollman will be performing with SHAPE 68, a new pop-oriented project with Glenn Hughes on bass and vocals and Robin DiMaggio on drums, at the Sabian Nighttime Show at NAMM in Anaheim, CA on January 17. It will mark the band's second-ever live appearance following their rousing October 16 debut performance at Platinum Live in Studio City, CA. SHAPE 68 are also scheduled to play The Hard Rock in Orlando, FL on March 27.
