Japan's COLDRAIN Signs With HOPELESS RECORDS

April 12, 2014

Hopeless Records has announced the signing of the Nagoya, Japan rock band COLDRAIN. The group's new full-length album is expected this summer.

Composed of lead vocalist Masato, bassist RxYxO (Ryo),drummer Katsuma, and guitarists Y.K.C. (Yokochi) and Sugi, COLDRAIN was formed in 2007 when five members of two local bands decided to come together and become more than just local.

Shortly after its inception, the band set off for its first tour and played in 30 venues across Japan.

COLDRAIN has seen major success in its home country with its previous EP, 2012's "Through Clarity", produced by David Bendeth (PARAMORE, BRING ME THE HORIZON, A DAY TO REMEMBER). Soon after, the band began a headline tour of 11 dates, selling out every venue. In 2013, COLDRAIN co-headlined the completely sold-out Monster Energy Outburn Tour with CROSSFAITH and MISS MAY I.

Fans can now watch the music video for the COLDRAIN song "The Revelation". The song can also be purchased now on iTunes.
