JACK FROST Comments On Upcoming Performance With LIZZY BORDEN

April 12, 2007

LIZZY BORDEN has recruited Jack Frost (SEVEN WITCHES, BRONX CASKET CO.) to be the second half of a two-guitar onslaught at Metal Blade's 25th Anniversary Showcase at the New England Metal And Hardcore Festival.

Jack has released the following statement:

"I am very honored to be taking the stage with LIZZY BORDEN at Metal Blade's 25th Anniversary Showcase and to have been asked to record with them on the new album.

"Being a longtime fan of not only Lizzy's but also of many of his labelmates, I'm excited to be celebrating Metal Blade's 25th anniversary from the stage. Growing up, I listened to tons of Metal Blade albums. They were responsible for breaking many of the now classic bands. And I have good friends on staff at the label. To be able to celebrate with them is a huge honor I would have never anticipated. Also, I've known many of the guys from LIZZY BORDEN for years, so it's great to finally get the chance to perform together. I played with Joey (Scott),Marten (Andersson) and Ira (Black) this year at NAMM, but the chance to play on the record with them is completely different. I'm really looking forward to it.

"And Lizzy, I'll do my best to deliver my axe."

The New England Metal And Hardcore Festival is a two-day event spanning April 27-28 at the Palladium in Worcester, MA. LIZZY BORDEN will perform at the Metal Blade 25th Anniversary Showcase on Saturday, April 28, 2007.
