IRON MAIDEN: Scandinavian Tour Dates Announced

Swedish newspaper Göteborgs-Posten is reporting that IRON MAIDEN will play two shows in Scandinavia during their 2005 summer tour. The shows are said to take place in Gothenburg (Sweden) and Finland (Helsinki).

The Finnish concert might take place at July 6 or July 7, probably at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium (cap. 44,000 – 46,000),while MAIDEN singer Bruce Dickinson has confirmed that the Gothenburg show is scheduled for July 9 at Ullevi Stadium (cap. 55,000 – 58,000). Tickets go on sale on October 25.

In other new, Dickinson can be heard singing a track on his former "Skunkworks"-era bandmates' group, SACK TRICK, on their new album, "Sheep In Kiss Make Up", which was released Monday (Oct. 18).
