IRON MAIDEN: New Song Available For Download!

June 8, 2003

An excellent-quality live version of the new IRON MAIDEN track "Wildest Dreams", recorded during the band's appearance at this year's Rock Am Ring festival in Nürburgring, Germany on Friday (June 6),has been posted online at this location. A studio version of "Wildest Dreams" will appear on the band's new album, "Dance Of Death", due on Sept. 9 through Columbia Records.

Kevin Shirley — who with bassist Steve Harris co-produced the group's 2000 album, "Brave New World", and last year's concert set "Rock in Rio" — has been drafted to work on the new album. The 11-track set was recorded in West London prior to the band's current European tour, and will include a stereo mix and a 5.1 Surround Sound mix.

"Brave New World" debuted at No. 39 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 258,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

As previously reported, MAIDEN will release all of their music videos on the two-disc DVD "Visions of the Beast" July 15 through Sanctuary Records Group/Columbia.

The band will kick off a North American tour July 21 in Worcester, Mass. The trek, which will also feature DIO and MOTÖRHEAD, will be on the road through the end of August.
