August 31, 2004

IRON MAIDEN manager, Rod Smallwood of the Sanctuary Music Group, has confirmed via the band's official web site that plans exist for MAIDEN to issue a new DVD in the fall.

It will relate to the early days of the band, and we will be giving you full details once they are in place. Needless to say it will be amazing — never has so much been packed into so little space!"

Among the footage material to surface on the as-yet-untitled DVD is the "Live at The Rainbow" concert video (previously released on PMI video),a newly filmed history of IRON MAIDEN, the "Top of The Pops" performance of "Women In Uniform" (1981),and the "Top of The Pops" performance of "Sanctuary" (1981).
