IREPRESS Signs With TRANSLATION LOSS RECORDS

December 13, 2006

Translation Loss Records has announced the signing of Boston, Massachusetts' IREPRESS.

IREPRESS (pronounced Eear-press) consists of five ancestrally diverse individuals collaboratively creating music that embodies the forward thinking aesthetic that Translation Loss Records strives toward.

Early 2007 will see the release of IREPRESS' debut full-length, "Samus Octology", eight tracks of progressive and complex arrangements intertwined with a defined sense of melody. Completely instrumental, "Samus Octology" presents itself with a wide array of material and emotions that surpass the need for vocal interruption. Forbes Graham of KAYO DOT (Robotic Empire/Tzadik) also makes a guest appearance on the CD.

IREPRESS' unique and versatile sound has allowed them to share the stage with the likes of ISIS, WU-TANG CLAN, IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE, HATEBREED, KOOL KEITH, KAYO DOT, SHADOWS FALL and GYM CLASS HEROES.

You can hear tracks from IREPRESS' upcoming Translation Loss Records debut, "Samus Octology", at www.myspace.com/irepress.
