ION DISSONANCE Sign With ABACUS RECORDINGS

March 23, 2005

Montreal-based quintet ION DISSONANCE have inked a deal with Abacus Recordings.

ION DISSONANCE have kept busy most of 2004 by relentlessly touring all over the U.S. and Canada in support of their debut record, "Breathing Is Irrelevant". The band's future plans are to tour and play as much as possible, with scheduled dates in Canada with PREMONITIONS OF WAR and DESPISED ICON, followed by several dates in the U.S., including the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival and the Maryland Death Fest, after which they will be touring the States again in June with FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW, REFLUX and ON BROKEN WINGS.

ION DISSONANCE will be recording their new album, entitled "Solace", during the month of May with producer Pierre Rémillard (CRYPTOPSY, KRISIUN, THE END). A fall release is expected. A demo track from the upcoming record, "She's Strychnine", is available for listening at PureVolume.com.
