INVITRO To Support STATIC-X; Album Release Date Announced

April 30, 2007

INVITRO, the California-based band featuring ex-SNOT/SOULFLY guitarist Mikey Doling, has been added as the support act on a number of upcoming dates on the STATIC-X/OTEP tour.

"We rocked 57 shows with my best brothers from my SNOT days and with Sonny Mayo in SEVENDUST now so it's been an awesome experience for everyone," says Invitro guitarist Mikey Doling. "We are going home for a week and then we start touring with STATIC-X. I'm very stoked to be touring with these guys, as we did a bit of touring together when I was in SOULFLY. It's always great to tour with old friends and I'm looking forward to a lot of good times with INVITRO."

In other news, INVITRO has announced the release date for its debut album, "When I Was A Planet', which is now scheduled to land in stores on August 7, 2007. The album will be released by Gridiron Records, a new label founded by Doling and Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Kyle Turley.

"I'm very excited to announce our release date for our debut record," commented Doling. "We've been working our asses off to reach this goal and we are releasing the record August 7th, 2007 which is Lynn Strait's [late SNOT frontman] birthday. The date is very symbolic for me personally. I can’t wait for everyone to finally hear it."
