INVITRO Announces Dates With DROWNING POOL, OTEP

October 25, 2007

INVITRO — the Los Angeles aluminum-foil-clad five-piece that has been tearing up stages on tours with STATIC-X, SEVENDUST, HELLYEAH and the Family Values Tour — has been confirmed as direct support for Texas-based DROWNING POOL. The band has also announced some dates in support of OTEP.

INVITRO recently released its debut album, "When I Was A Planet", through Gridiron Records, the label formed INVITRO guitarist Mikey Doling (ex-SOULFLY, SNOT) and Kansas City Chiefs' offensive tackle Kyle Turley. Since the album's release, Revolver magazine stated, "Beneath the humor are some of the most intricate riffs and sharpest melodies you'll hear this year. Come to 'Planet' for the mirth; stay for the music," while Metal Edge magazine proclaimed "the musicianship and originality are incredible. These aluminum foil luchadors are on a whole other level."
