INME: New Album Due In June

April 21, 2005

Britain's INME will release their eagerly anticipated sophomore album, "White Butterfly", on June 20 via V2 Records.

The follow-up to 2003's "Overgrown Eden", which was recorded in Los Angeles with revered producer Josh Abraham (KORN, COURTNEY LOVE, LIMP BIZKIT, VELVET REVOLVER),"fulfills all the early promose of the group's debut (which sold over 50,000 copies in the U.K. alone),but has a much more mature sound, bursting with hooks, penetrating riffs and a commercial edge that sets INME apart," according to a posting on the group's web site.

The group's new record company, V2, are supporting the band's own imprint label, Pandora's Box Records, thus allowing INME a lot more independence and control than they were previously afforded.

INME's first single off the new album, "7 Weeks", will be released on July 18, and for this the band are returning once again to Canada, to the creative mind and look behind all their videos, Harv Glazer.

Taking to the road for the first set of U.K. dates in support of "White Butterfly", INME will play a series of special Barfly shows prior to and around their Download Festival appearance on Friday, June 10. This will tehn be followed by a full-blown U.K. tour in July, including a special one-off Highbury, Garage (London) appearance for their loyal fan base, where free entrance will be available via a special weblink on the new album.
