3 INCHES OF BLOOD: New Audio Interview Available

July 3, 2007

An audio interview with 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, conducted on June 28, 2007 in Vancouver by E.S. Day of Abort Magazine, has been posted online at this location.

3 INCHES OF BLOOD's video for the track "The Goatrider's Horde" has been posted online: High-Quality, YouTube. The song comes off the Vancouver, B.C.-based heavy metal warriors' new album, "Fire Up the Blades", which was released on June 26 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at Vancouver's legendary Armoury Studios (AC/DC, KISS) and Mushroom Studios (QUEENSRŸCHE) with producer Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT) and engineer Dan Turner. Darker, tighter and more dangerous than the band's previous works, "Fire Up the Blades" features songs such as "Night Marauders", "The Goatrider's Horde", "Assassins of the Light" and "Black Spire" and is full of vivid imagery, masterful guitar acrobatics and the skyscraping vocals of Cam Pipes and Jamie Hooper that 3 INCHES OF BLOOD is known for. The follow-up to the band's 2004 release "Advance and Vanquish" is already being called "a thrash-fest" that features "a raging JUDAS PRIEST-meets-SLAYER attack".

3 INCHES OF BLOOD has joined the lineup of Ozzfest 2007, where they will display their hard-hitting live show alongside OZZY OSBOURNE, LAMB OF GOD, LORDI, HATEBREED, NILE and many more.
