IN THIS MOMENT Signs Worldwide Deal With CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS

August 28, 2006

Century Media Records has announced the signing of IN THIS MOMENT to a worldwide deal. The Southern California-based quintet quickly became one of the most talked about artists within the local scene due to the intensity of frontwoman Maria Brink and an undying work ethic. This buzz carried over to the band’s MySpace page resulting in over 105,000 friends and over 800,000 plays.

The group's songwriting blends together a propulsive mixture of metal and hard rock elements that will quickly help them carve out their own unique niche within the scene. The diversity and depth of their songwriting is refreshing and their musical prowess is simply undeniable.

IN THIS MOMENT further describe their thoughts on the new deal and upcoming album: "We are very excited to be a part of the Century Media family and to be included in the CM roster along with so many great bands is truly an honor for us. Words really can't describe how great it feels to be starting our career with such a great label behind us. We are so thankful for all the opportunities we have been given. We also just finished recording our debut album with Eric Rachel (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, GOD FORBID) at Trax East, which was an amazing experience. Eric exceeded our expectations in every way and he was able to bring out the best in all of us. It was definitely five weeks we will never forget."

IN THIS MOMENT's debut offering is set for a spring 2007 release. A new track will also be on featured on Century Media's upcoming "Metal for the Masses" double-disc set, which is set for a late November release.
