As previously reported, IN FLAMES have been confirmed for the Desert Rock 2007 festival, set to take place March 9-10, 2007 at the Dubai Country Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

March 9, 2007:

IN FLAMES
CHILDREN OF BODOM
THE PRODIGY

March 10, 2007:

INCUBUS
PRIME CIRCLE

More bands will be announced, including the headliners for both days. A total of 10 acts are expected to perform over the two days.

Several photos of IN FLAMES performing with their new touring guitarist Niklas Engelin (ENGEL, PASSENGER, GARDENIAN, IN FLAMES) on November 13, 2006 at Jahalli in Tampere, Finland on the "Unholy Alliance" tour have been posted online at HardcoreSounds.Net. (NOTE: Scroll down to the bottom of the page to view the most recent pictures!)

IN FLAMES enlisted Niklas Engelin to fill in for regular axeman Jesper Strömblad, who is sitting out the group's current tour in order to deal with some personal issues. "Niklas was with us back in 1997/98 on some tours and is a longtime friend of the band," IN FLAMES writes on its web site.
