IMPERIUM: 'Forgotten' Black Metal Jewel To Receive Vinyl Release

Lyderhorn Records will soon be releasing a limited-edition 12-inch vinyl EP from IMPERIUM, the Norwegian black metal band that consisted of members of GEHENNA, DISMAL EUPHONY, THEATRE OF TRAGEDY and EMPEROR. The EP was reportedly recorded in 1996 and hasn't been available until now. Described as "fast, raw, and epic with a sound not unlike early EMPEROR but with less use of synth," the EP is limited to 500 copies and will never be repressed in this incarnation. It comes in a special 100% transparent packaging with a design by Stephen O'Malley. Pre-orders are being taken using PayPal only, and the price is $15 postpaid U.S./$20 rest of the world. More information is available at lyderhorn.cjb.net.
