IMMORTAL To Guest On Tonight's 'Tinitus'

May 16, 2007

Abbath and Demonaz of the Norwegian black metal band IMMORTAL will be the featured guests on this week's "Tinitus" radio show, airing tonight (Wednesday, May 16) between 20.00 CET (8:00 p.m.) and 22.00 CET (10:00 p.m.) on Norway's P3. A press release states: "Joined at the hip for the best part of 20 years, the musicians that created one of the most revered and successful extreme metal bands to have come out of Norway — IMMORTAL — remained loyal to each other throughout a series of events that originated in 1997 when Demonaz' hand injury forced him to abandon his guitar duties. 'If the hand injury didn't stop us, nothing will,' Demonaz comments in one of tonight's interview segments. 'If Demonaz gets brain cancer, IMMORTAL gets brain cancer,' Abbath continues. 'Tinitus'' Miss Pee digs deep into the steel bond between the two metal veterans and brings you some explosive exclusives, including drug abuse, the family connection, the real reason behind the IMMORTAL reunion and the band's eagerly awaited new album. Tune in and hear the most candid IMMORTAL interview so far." (NOTE: The IMMORTAL interview was conducted in English.)

"Tinitus" is Norway's most popular metal show with an average of over 60,000 listeners per week (1.5 percent of the country's population!).

To tune into P3 via the Internet, follow the instructions that are posted on the "Tinitus" MySpace page at this location.
