IMMORTAL To Guest On Norway's 'Headbanger's Ball' This Weekend

March 26, 2007

Reunited Norwegian black metallers IMMORTAL will be the featured guests on the Norwegian edition of MTV's "Headbanger's Ball" on Sunday, April 1 beginning at 22.00.

Two full "Headbanger's Ball" episodes will be dedicated to Inferno Festival. The first show, "Inferno Vorspiel", will also be shown on big screen at the Inferno Metal Expo on April 5-6, and "Headbanger's Ball" host Pete Evil (BLOOD TSUNAMI guitarist/singer) will be DJing at the Inferno Metal Expo and will conduct the keynote interview with Dan Lilker (BRUTAL TRUTH, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, ANTHRAX) at the Inferno Music Conference.

After 13 successful years as one of the pioneers of black metal, IMMORTAL disbanded in 2003 with a legacy of seven full-length albums, including the 2002 milestone, "Sons of Northern Darkness". Following a long hiatus, the band decided to enter the live battlefield again.

Come 2007, the world will experience a ferocious new IMMORTAL lineup, featuring Abbath, Horgh, and new bass player Apollyon from AURA NOIR.
