ILLDISPOSED Guitarist Cuts Hand While Opening Beer Bottle, European Tour Unaffected

ILLDISPOSED lead guitarist Jakob Batten cut his hand open last Sunday (September 7) while opening a bottle of beer with an empty bottle. Thankfully, the injury wasn't serious enough to affect the opening date of the band's upcoming European tour, which is scheduled to kick off on Friday, September 12 in Glauchau, Germany. Support at the dates will come from Danish death metallers COMPOS MENTIS.

As previously reported, ILLDISPOSED's cover version of AT THE GATES' "Slaughter Of The Soul" has been posted online in MP3 format at this location. The Danish band's rendition of the song will be included on an upcoming tribute to AT THE GATES, set for release this fall through Drowned Scream Records.

ILLDISPOSED, who recently parted ways with Danish label Diehard Music, are currently working on a six-song promo recording, which they will use to procure a new record deal.
