ILL NINO: Video Footage From The Studio Posted Online

July 29, 2010

Video footage of ILL NINO guitarists Ahrue Luster and guitarist Diego Verduzco laying down tracks for the band's new album, "Dead New World", at Illustrious Productions in Denver, Colorado can be viewed below.

"Dead New World" will be released this fall via Victory Records.

Commented ILL NINO drummer Dave Chavarri: "Our new CD is everything you expect from ILL NINO's original Latin metal sounds; it's heavy as fuck, full of Cristian growling vocals, melodic choruses, tribal Latin rhythms, sick guitars, as well as also being the most progressive record we've ever recorded!!!"

A brand-new track from ILL NINO entitled "Scarred (My Prison)" is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.

Earlier this week ILL NINO was forced to cancel a week's worth of European festival appearances after the band's vocalist , Cristian Machado, was hospitalized for six herniated discs and a pressured nerve against his spine.

After Cristian undergoes the necessary therapy for his back, ILL NINO will start its European festival dates on Friday, August 6 at the Wacken Open Air festival and finish on August 22.

ILL NINO last year split with Cement Shoes Records, which released 2008's "Enigma". According to Chavarri, the CD sold 80,000 copies worldwide "with no backup in America."

ILL NINO parted ways with Roadrunner Records in 2006 — less than a year after the release of ILL NINO's third album, "One Nation Underground".
