IGNITE: New Tour Dates Announced

August 2, 2006

West Coast conscious hardcore champions IGNITE have announced two fall tours. The band will first join Richmond, VA's politico hardcore machine STRIKE ANYWHERE across the East Coast in early September, including co-headlining dates. They will also do a Canadian run with legendary surf punks PENNYWISE and the incomparable CIRCLE JERKS.

Speaking of their forthcoming run with STRIKE ANYWHERE, bassist Brett Rasmussen says, "We've heard tons of good things about their live show and can’t wait to join them.' On PENNYWISE, he continues "It's going to be great to go out with our friends in PENNYWISE. We've played a million different random shows with them, but this will be our first full tour with them since Euro Warped Tour 99."

IGNITE are currently killing all with their appearances at huge European fests, including With Full Force, which had 10,000 people singing along with Zoli as well as Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting and Pressure Fest. The band is also doing European tour dates with WITH HONOR and CONVICT before they return stateside for a late August appearance with the legendary GORILLA BISCUITS for their reunion tour on August 21 at The Glasshouse.
