I-DEF-I Announces U.K. Album-Launch Shows

Manchester, U.K.-based metallers I-DEF-I will play a series of album-launch shows in May to support the release of their debut full-length, "In the Light of a New Day", due on April 23 via Copro Records.

The follow-up to last year's critically acclaimed mini-album "Bloodlust Casualty", "In the Light of a New Day" marks the recording debut with the band of new drummer Carl Sharrocks and features a guest appearance from DJ Woody. Tracks from the album have already been played on Bruce Dickinson's (IRON MAIDEN) rock show on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Borders and numerous Internet stations.

I-DEF-I have also been confirmed to appear at the inaugural 1st Festival. The event will take palce on August 4-5 in Wick, South Wales and will offer signed bands, as well as up-and-coming unsigned acts from the U.K. I-DEF-I will appear on August 5 alongside BREED 77, FOREVER NEVER and more. The festival site is situated on the Heritage coast of Wales, near the historic town of Llantwit Major and with spectacular panoramic views.
