HYPOCRISY Cleared To Enter U.S

Swedish death metallers HYPOCRISY have issued the following statement:

"It seems Santa has come early this year for HYPOCRISY!

"As previously reported, we were forced to cancel our recently scheduled tour with ENSIFERUM due to problems with work visas. Today we received the good news that we are now all cleared to enter the country.

"We are currently planning to come back to the U.S. sometime in early 2010! We will let everyone know very soon when the tour and line up is confirmed.

"Thanks to all our fans for supporting HYPOCRISY all these years!"

HYPOCRISY's February 27, 2010 concert at the Blue Box club in Sofia, Bulgaria will be filmed for a forthcoming DVD.

Tickets are on sale for 36 leva (18 euro) for the first 200 tickets, 45 leva (23 euro) during the pre-sale, and 50 leva (25 euros) on the day of the show.

After four years, HYPOCRISY will finally be back on the road in Europe in January as part of the "Long Time, No Death… Europe 2010" tour with SURVIVORS ZERO and HATESPHERE.

To really give the fans something special, the band has decided to let its fans vote for their favoriate songs that they want to see performed live. The top-voted songs will be played on the upcoming tour.

"A Taste Of Extreme Divinity", the new album from HYPOCRISY, sold 1,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 23 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
