HIGH ON FIRE: 'Devilution' Video To Receive 'Headbanger's Ball' Premiere

May 20, 2005

HIGH ON FIRE will see their new video — for the song "Devilution" — premiere on this weekend's edition of "Headbanger's Ball" (Saturday, May 21). "Headbanger's Ball" airs Saturdays at 10:00 p.m. EST on MTV2.

"Devilution", the roll-out single from HIGH IN FIRE's critically acclaimed album, "Blessed Black Wings", was filmed on location in the hills of San Francisco, CA with director Gary Smithson (TOMAHAWK, GOATWHORE) and features HIGH ON FIRE performing as an evolving storyline unfolds. Exclusive stills from the video shoot can be viewed at this location.

As recently announced, HIGH ON FIRE will perform live as one of the featured artists on the forthcoming Sounds of the Underground tour. The band will join LAMB OF GOD, CLUTCH and OPETH, among others, for the five-week North American trek, slated to launch June 25 in Lowell, MA. HIGH ON FIRE kicked off a week long string of West Coast U.S. tour dates last night with a sold-out performance in Sacramento, CA. The band will appear live at the KZSC FM-UC Santa Cruz Festival in Santa Cruz, CA this evening.
