HERMANO Complete Live CD, Continue Work On DVD

August 4, 2005

HERMANO, the California-based band featuring vocalist John Garcia (UNIDA, KYUSS),have completed work on their live album, tentatively due later in the year via Suburban. "The artwork is badass, thanks to our good friend in Atlanta, Mr. Charlie Owens," the band write in a press release. "The disc has tunes from each release and some special nuggets for your enjoyment... It's loose, loud and totally HERMANO!"

HERMANO are currently working on an "extensive" DVD release of the group's 2004 European and the 2005 Festimad shows. It will contain unreleased live footage and life-on-the-bus clips, as well as rehearsal outtakes and three videos form the "Dare I Say…" album.

HERMANO's latest album, "Dare I Say..." , is available in the U.S. via MeteorCity. "Dare I Say..." , which was issued in Europe last November, is Garcia's first full-length album to be recorded and released in almost five years, since HERMANO's 2002 effort, "Only a Suggestion", was recorded over two years earlier, and Garcia's other band, UNIDA, hasn't had a new album since 1999, thanks to American Recordings' shelving of their would-be major label debut in 2001.

HERMANO features Garcia alongside SUPAFUZZ guitarist Dave Angstrom, ORQUESTA DEL DESIERTO bassist Dandy Brown, and SUPAFUZZ drummer Chris Leathers.
