HENRY ROLLINS To Auction Off Guitar Signed By Metal Heavy-Hitters
Henry Rollins is auctioning off a guitar on eBay that has been signed by some of heavy rock's biggest stars. Most of the artists contributed to the Rollins-organized "Rise Above", an album of BLACK FLAG covers. The album and the guitar auction are both to benefit the legal defense of the West Memphis Three (a.k.a. Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelley and Jason Baldwin), who were allegedly convicted unfairly of murder.
Signatures on the guitar include:
Keith Morris (BLACK FLAG, CIRCLE JERKS)
Cedrick Bixler Zavala (AT THE DRIVE-IN, THE MARS VOLTA)
Exene Cervenka (X, THE KNITTERS)
Nick Oliveri & Josh Homme (QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE)
Tom Araya (SLAYER)
Henry Rollins (BLACK FLAG, ROLLINS BAND)
Jim Wilson (ROLLINS BAND, MOTHER SUPERIOR)
Marcus Blake (ROLLINS BAND, MOTHER SUPERIOR)
Jason Mackenroth (ROLLINS BAND, MOTHER SUPERIOR)
Casey Chaos (AMEN)
Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR)
Inger Lorre (THE NYMPHS)
Kira Roessler (BLACK FLAG)
Chuck Dukowski (BLACK FLAG)
Tim Armstrong & Lars Frederiksen (RANCID)
Current bid is $4,000 and the auction ends on Nov. 4. For more information, visit the auction page at this location.
