HELMET: PAGE HAMILTON ESP Signature Guitars Announced

January 20, 2006

Page Hamilton, singer and guitarist for the influential band HELMET and longtime ESP player, has designed his first signature models for the company. The LTD PH-600 and the ESP Page are part of ESP's 2006 Winter NAMM show offering of 22 new guitars.

"Page Hamilton has been an ESP evangelist since the early days of HELMET," says Allen Steelgrave, ESP Director of Marketing and Artist Relations. "We're excited about his recent re-formation of the band, and happy we're able to offer Page's custom design to our customers in both ESP and LTD models."

The LTD PH-600 and ESP Page are new Signature Series models from ESP Guitars. Both models feature a totally unique "brushed aluminum" looking finish on their neck-thru body, designed at 25.5" scale. An alder body adjoins the 3-piece maple neck, with an ebony fingerboard supporting 24 extra jumbo frets. The clean lines of the LTD PH-600 and ESP Page are maintained with no fret inlays, opting for dot position markers on the side of the neck instead. A Wilkinson vibrato comes standard on both models, as do DiMarzio Airzone and Fast Track pickups.

The LTD PH-600 and the ESP Page will begin shipping to authorized LTD and ESP dealers early in 2006.
